Gridiron Club

The Gridiron Football Club (GIFC) is an assembly of parents, community members, and coaches who are devoted to the development of each student-athlete into a champion. The mission of the Gridiron Football Club is to ensure an excellent and well-rounded experience for each student-athlete in the Ypsilanti football Program.

Gridiron Goals:

  • To create community excitement around Ypsilanti High School Football;
  • To strengthen football communication between coaches, parents and the community.
  • To provide the resources needed by the football program to develop our children as outstanding young men and superior athletes. To build successful relationships between all programs that feed athletes into the Ypsilanti Football Program including local youth football programs, West Middle School, East Middle School, Washtenaw Jr. Braves, Washtenaw Warriors, and Ypsilanti Panthers youth football programs.
The Gridiron Football Club operates year-round to provide support and resources for the Football Program. We meet on the first Monday of every month, unless it is a holiday, at 6:30pm to discuss the current state of the Program. We also plan/organize up-coming events and ensure that we are providing the best possible product for the student-athletes at Ypsilanti High School. Our monthly meetings are open to any and all parents/supporters of the Ypsilanti Football Program.

The Gridiron Football Club has many facets to accomplish our mission, some being various fundraisers, team dinners, community service & out-reach projects, amongst others.
