MISSION STATEMENT
The commitment of Ypsilanti Football is the education of our student-athletes FOR LIFE,
in order that they may maximize their potential in the totality of
their lives; spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically.
We
are interested in student-athletes who want a football experience built
upon relationships; player to player, player to coach, and coach to
player, and integrated within the greater school community.
Though we have great interest in individuals with athletic ability, we are much more interested in their CHARACTER AND ATTITUDE.
Our priority and strategic intention is to use the vehicle of football to develop the boys into young men under our care.
For as we believe:
YPSILANTI FOOTBALL IS NOT "SOMETHING YOU DO." IT IS "SOMEONE YOU BECOME."
VISION STATEMENT
We will represent YPSILANTI academically and athletically, as ambassadors of the game and acknowledge our position as a First Class Football
Program. Our goal will be to develop young boys into young men who will take leadership roles at school and in the community. This football
program will be based on academic achievement, discipline, respect, and school spirit.
